HCL Infosystems Ltd has come up with its new ranges of laptops, 'Leaptop Series 39’ for Indian market. The new HCL laptops are designed keeping in mind the weather condition of India. The leaptops incorporates a built-in cooling technology which allows to keep the temperature inside the machines at 6 degrees C below the ambient temperature calculated at 35 degrees C. The manufacturing company also assured that the new laptops will consume less power in sleep mode.
The HCL laptops are endowed with Intel’s centrino and centrino2 processor technology. With 14.1-inch wide screen, the leaptops are supposed to have a battery back-up of more than four hours. While delivering his speech at the launch of the laptops, the executive vice president of HCL Infosystems, George Paul stated that the new ranges of HCL laptops underwent tests in hot and humid conditions. According to him, the new Leaptop Series 39 will transform the computing industry in India.
The executive vice president of HCL also said that the new laptops have been manufactured after taking the feedbacks of Indian customers. The company has devoted enough time and attention to develop products with lower temperature difference across the surface of the laptop. The laptops with Intel centrino processor cost Rs 39,900 while centrino2 models will be available at a price of Rs. 42,990.
