The Haryana Tourism Corporation is busy preparing for its yearly Pinjore Heritage Festival, which will be held at the Yadvindra Gardens of Pinjore this October. The idea behind introducing this annual 'heritage festival' was to put back into these gardens of Pinjore its old glory. It will be a three-day event that will kick-start from October 3, 2008 onwards.

Says Satwanti Ahlawat, the managing director of Haryana Tourism Corporation, 'We are getting ready to host this mega event this October. The Pinjore Heritage Festival has become an annual feature like the Surajkund Craft Mela for the state. This time the arrangements will be done keeping in view the increasing demand of the tourists.' Yadvindra Gardens, the venue of the festival, was built in the 17th Century.
