Haryana government will be setting up skill development centres for providing training to nearly 100,000 youth in the state. Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda while addressing the state on the eve of 44th Haryana Day mentioned that the government has plans making the youths of Haryana more skilful for meeting the industrial demands.
The state was created Nov 1, 1966, by bifurcating Punjab.
He also mentioned that the government will soon be launching a new health programme worth Rs.1,500-crore so that the health of the people of Haryana can be improved. He has also mentioned that the government will be modernizing all the hospitals.
He said that 400,000 labourers will be covered under the National Health Insurance Scheme.
