Harsh Mankad with his team-mate Treat Conard Huey has advanced into the quarter-finals at the doubles event of the Champaign event in the United States.The Indian is in race for his fourth ATP Challenger title of the season.
The Indo-Philippines duo of Harsh and Huey registered a 6-4, 6-3 staright set victory over American Nicholas Monroe and Izak Van der Merwe of South Africa.
Meanwhile Purav Raja and his British partner Richard Bloomfield were ousted in the first round of the USD 50,000 hard court event.They earned a a 0-6, 6-7(2) defeat in the hands of Dominic Inglot of Britain and American Rylan Rizza.
