Harman International Industries, the US-based firm which is into the manufacturing of audio products, has inaugurated its new Indian office on Tuesday in Bangalore.
 
The firm has hopes to equip different vital venues of the Commonwealth Games, which is slated to kick off in New Delhi in 2010.
 
The new Bangalore-based office leaves a footmark of the business base of the firm in India. The company also mentioned that it has plans for expanding its business across India.
 
"We are excited to further strengthen our presence in Asia and enhance our ability to serve our growing customer base in the region," said Dinesh C. Paliwal, chairman and chief executive of Harman.
 
Harman markets a variety of consumer audio systems under its premium brands such as JBL, Harman Kardon and Infinity.
