Google Inc and Yahoo Inc recently released excerpts of a pact covering their search advertising partnership to US Securities and Exchange Commission. Usually, companies take the unusual step of disclosing the contract governing the partnership. Rather they do leave financial terms like revenue split on their deal etcetera.

The agreement between two major players in internet world has been the issue of anti-competition law. In this agreement where Google controls 70 percent of the Web search ad market and that a Yahoo deal would give Google control over 90 percent of the market. And, this accordingly will amount to monopoly in internet world of Google and Yahoo joint entity.

However, Google and Yahoo have been perpetually been saying that the partnership is a non-exclusive arrangement in which Yahoo is effectively contracting with Google to sell ads alongside a portion of its search results. And, which according to Yahoo will allow it to focus on other aspects of its business where it is more strongly positioned.
