Google has started a new era in communication when it opened its servers up to outsiders who want their own waves to communicate with the outside world. So the networks like Acme and Initech can now talk to each other with the start of new Google Wave Federation.
Google wave is software which helps in sending e-mails, instant messages and file sharing. However, the outside developers can build their own wavelike services using the Google Wave API set.
Now the new Google Wave Federation Protocol will be implemented facilitating the interaction within the servers. So a server of one company can interact with another company using public peer-to-peer network assisted by Google.
