Google Inc, the Internet search giant, which has about 2 million online office software customers, will kick of its advertising campaign on Monday for attracting with its arch-rivals, Microsoft Corp and IBM.
Google said there are now 20 million active users of Google Apps.
The campaign, which is slated to kick off today Monday in France, Japan and Britain, will mark the entry of Google into mass-market advertising and stresses the increasing competition in email and online software businesses.
Despite IBM and Microsoft being the market leaders in enterprise email, Google is working on convincing business guys to use the Google cloud-based services, which enables the users to access the software over the Web and store the data on Google's data centres.
Cloud-based services will enable the company to have cash and maintenance savings over the normally-used software, but it is not sure if the Google campaign will be successful after the reliability of online software was questioned last month by some online reports.
