Internet giant, Google has added new personalization features to its Reader. This RSS feed aggregator will now present top-rising images, videos and pages from anywhere. From there, the new algorithm will help the application to lump all those pieces of information in the new Popular Items section. The Reader then sorts out stories based on the user’s choice and subscription.
The other changes include moving the Reader's recommendations to the app’s Explore section. It will employ the user's Reader Trends and Web History to find a list of feeds as per the user’s choice.
Now all the Reader feeds will feature a sort option called Magic, which will group according to user’s liking. The Magic option reorders items in the feed based on the user’s personal usage and overall activity in the Reader. The more the user clicks on the share and like options, the better the Magic sort will be.
