Google has done it again. It recently introduced a solid new version of its already best iPhone RSS reader. Announced first on the official Google Reader blog, the new reader would be instantly familiar who has used an iPhone. One can scan the titles for an item that is of interest, then tap and expand the same for a crystal clear view.
It is quite fast, infact faster than EDGE even though it might seem to buffer the current 15 posts that a user is viewing. Starring and sharing are the two wonderful ways to speed up the navigation while using the reader. However, inspite of the launch of the reader, Google somehow seemed to have missed out on a critical feature - the ability to send a link to a post via iPhone's Mail app. It is a known fact that most iPhone users, if not all sync all their contacts with the iPhone and e-mail is a vital way to share this information to both friends and family.
With more and more people benefiting from the fully-fledged Safari browser that the Apple iPhone already comes bundled with, the release of this brand new reader will be an absolute icing on the cake. Designed specially for the iPhone, the new interface will make it way easier to navigate through the application. The Google reader automatically checks for personal selection of news, websites, and blogs for all the available new content mixing all the new entries within the interface
