According to a company statement, the Google image search has been a standard part of its image search technology. This feature was launched in late April along with the visual-news timeline to provide the users a way to find images that share certain visual similarities with those in Google Images search results.

Now the image search will help in searching desired items apart from navigating between images without changing the original search item.

Google has had a similar dedicated search page which provides identical results as that of the standard version of Google Images search. It is likely to offer best results for the time being as that of other services like Google Transit (now a part of Maps) and Google Suggest.

Google users can also send their feedbacks through a standalone Google Product Ideas page. This operates the same way as that of other product idea pages in getting valuable inputs, which in turn help the developers to make useful innovations.
