Google has added folder sharing feature to its Google Docs. So the users can share the spreadsheets, presentations and document files with other people. Previously, Google had added the online sharing of documents in 2007.
The users also need not change the permission of each document’s viewing permissions one at a time. Instead, they can set the permissions settings for a shared folder and control all the files inside it.
Google said that it was voted as the most requested product idea by the users. They also said that, they would develop the Docs file uploader very soon, so that multiple files can be uploaded from the hard drive at once. Apart from that, the user can also assess the uploading time there.
The folder sharing will be a useful option to move entire folders into Google's cloud and Google can have the option to make further improvements to the cloud later.
