Google has developed a package consisting of a set of developer tools. The web based Closure Developer Tools are aimed at helping the users to manage and build applications written in JavaScript.
The Closure Compiler is the first tool, which allows developers to check, optimize and compile JavaScript. Apart from that, there is a Closure Inspector plug in to help the user to check and debug codes.
The next one is the Closure Library tool, which is also a media to build JavaScript applications. The developers can create interfaces by using the Closure Templates. These templates offer a code base for the users.
The popular web applications like Gmail, Google Maps and Google Docs use the Closure version offered by Google development team. The company is optimistic that the new Closure Developer Toolswill help in the development of creating new applications.
"Like developers everywhere, Googlers want great web apps to be easier to create, so we've built many tools to help us develop these (and many other) apps," the company blog said.
"We are happy to announce the open sourcing of these tools, and proud to make them available to the web development community," the company statement added.
