Google chrome browser has been officially launched and can be downloaded from gears.google.com/chrome/?hl=en. Google has removed the cached page of Chrome download. It seems the browser was launched by mistake and as soon as the engineers identified the mistake, they removed the cache page. After all, being Google has its own advantages.

The Chrome download page is currenly redirecting to www.google.com. Google Chrome is an open source browser that uses the technology and components behind Mozilla & Apple's Webkit. The preview of the browser is available at Google Blogscoped and the screenshots reveal that the basic browser has minimal interface only.

The availability of the beta Google Chrome browser for download is expected later today.
