Internet search biggie Google Inc. bought away four-month-old Omnisio Inc on Wednesday, July 31. Google states that it plans to employ the technology of the start-up firm for mixing online videos and adding comments to videos into its YouTube video site. How much the acquisition cost Google was not divulged.

Officials from YouTube mentioned in a blog post that Ryan Junee, Julian Frumar and Simon Ratner, the co-founders of Omnisio Inc., have remarkable expertise in advanced video editing. This, the blog post read, will be exploited for bettering the user experience on video site YouTube.

The YouTube officials further underscored that they are ‘big fans of anything that lets people interact with online video and gives the YouTube community the chance to express themselves in creative ways.’ They added that one better be geared up for more enticing features and applications as the online video segment nurtures immense growth potential.
