After the stupendous success of religious and mythological figures like Hanuman, Krishna and Ganesha, it is the turn of Ghatothkach, son of Bhim and Hadimba, to entertain children in animated form. Director of "Ghatothkach – Master of Magic", Singeetam Srinivasa Rao revealed that there is more to Ghatothkach then just being the demon son of Bhim and Hadimba.

Mr. Rao stated that they have not kept everything authentic in the film. In fact, contrary to common belief, Ghatothkach has not been shown as an ugly demon but as a cute and cuddlesome child. ‘Ghattu’ as he will be commonly addressed in the film is shown as a lovable kid who can change shapes. However, the main story line has been adopted from the great epic Mahabharata. The story of Ghatothkach is going to be all about the magical escapades of Bhim’s son. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on May 23 and will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali.
