The multi-million deal between General Electric and Mahindra Satyam has been provided a three year extension.
GE, which one of the top 5 customers of Mahindra Satyam, has rendered its support in exclusive areas of application development maintenance, business intelligence and engineering services.
The New York-based GE has similar contract with 11 other technology vendors worldwide.
"We recognise the support extended over the years by Satyam and their commitment to delivery excellence even during tyring times," GE's global development centre leader Steve Morrison said.
Arvind Malhotra, the global account executive of Satyam, mentioned that this extension of the GE deal was a proof of the commitment exhibited by the engineers of the firm.
"The contract symbolises the value we have been able to add through our services to GE," Malhotra added.
