Well that will now soon become possible as Japan’s leading mobile accessory manufacturer, Fujitsu recently announced that it will launch a first of its kind water proof mobile phone handset. To be christened as F706i, this waterproof mobile phone handset will first get launched in the Japanese market followed by a worldwide release.  

 

The ‘air-to-water’ and ‘water-to-air’ taglines are being used to publicize this new cell phone from Japan’s Fujitsu Company. Appearance wise, the phone will be slim and sleek but at the same time very powerful. On it, the user can even watch his / her favorite TV show or talk underwater. The F706i waterproof mobile phone has an operating range of just six meters underwater, but the experts state that use of enhanced technology in future will help solve the short range problem.  

 

The introduction of the 137 grams unique F706i waterproof cell phone by this Japanese company is being regarded as a major technological feat. Launch of such phones will permit human being a greater mobility as it will help remain connected even in the harshest of weathers. The F706i flaunts a clamshell structure with a 2.7 inch screen and a two mega-pixel camera. With it, the user can also take pictures of undersea creatures during deep sea diving and other such activities.
