Popular VoIP developer Fring has announced the launch of world's first mobile video call service over internet protocol (IP) for Symbian phones.
 
This video feature has been embedded within the Fring application, which provides free voice calls to other Fring users. This service will also allow the registered users to connect to their friends on Skype and GTalk. More to it, they will be able to call on the regular phones as well.
 
This video call support is available to users who have cells including Nokia X6, N97 mini, N97, 5800, N95 8G and N95 devices. Then, the same support will be ported to other versions as well gradually.
 
Fring has also other applications including iPhone/iPod Touch, Android and Windows Mobile. It also supports J2ME and Linux versions as well. So the new video call service will help it in gaining a stronghold in technology space.
