A short role in ‘Slum Dog Millionaire’ and Frieda Pinto was off from the B-Town world, she doesn’t any more exist here, but says that Bollywood is a mindless cinema and that’s not her cup of tea.

She says that there is no quality control in the movies because of which many films are just chummed out. She refuses to do any singing-dancing kind of roles in the B-Town.

Frieda says, “Mindless cinema is not my cup of tea... I could get into trouble for saying that. I don't think Bollywood is only mindless cinema, but a lot of films they churn out are not films that I completely enjoy watching.”

She adds further, "I wouldn't want to do a Bollywood film per se, but I would like to do an Indian-language film. For some reason I think Bollywood has become synonymous with commercial cinema, which is song and dance and everything that is larger than life, and I am interested in the reality... It is great to have entertainment, but I think there needs to be something that also makes you want to go back and think about what you've seen.”

Well, you can say that the grapes are sour though for Frieda in a nut shell. Apart from all this,  she stars in Woody Allen’s ‘sci-fi’ film and many other Hollywood flicks are in her kitty.
