Freida Pinto soon became the well-known international face after starring in ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ and even today her career graph is going up. The beauty made a big-bang entry at ongoing Toronto International Film Festival (TIIF) with two of her films showcasing at the event.
 
Her two films to be premiered at the global stage is Woody Allen`s ‘You Will Meet a Tall, Dark Stranger’ and Julian Schnabel`s ‘Miral’.
 
Miral’ which is based on the adaptation of Italian-Palestinian journalist Rula Jebreal`s novel of the same name revolves around the story of Hind Husseini's effort to establish an orphanage in Jerusalem after the 1948 partition of Palestine and the creation of the state of Israel.
 
In the movie, Freida Pinto is playing the central character of young orphan girl Miral.
 
Director Schnabel who is delighted with Pinto’s performance quoted, "There was no doubt in my mind that there was nobody who could have played the role of Miral except Freida."
 
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old actress claimed that she did not made any extra efforts’ to match in with the rest of the casts strong Arabic accents. "In any country, there are so many accents and you choose anyone you want," she said.
 
Talking about her Bollywood ventures, the actress said, "I don`t know, I don`t know. I cannot say anything."
 
On the other hand, after starring in serious flick like ‘Miral’, Pinto will be seen in a light comedy flick, ‘You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger’. The movie is directed by versatile filmmaker Woody Allen and Pinto portrays the role of Dia in the flick.
