Canadian Frank Dancevic, who is at the World No 90 as per the ATP Rankings, defeated Argentina’s 7th ranked David Nalbandian 6-4 6-2 6-4 at Wimbledon on Monday, June 23, 2008. The ex-finalist David Nalbandian became the highest men's seed to be beaten at Wimbledon during the Monday’s match against Dancevic. Infact the performance of Frank Dancevic seemed to put David Nalbandian fully out of gear and disorienting him time and again by winners flying off his (Dancevic's) racket.
Nalbandian predicament was ended by Dancevic firing a powerful ace, his 16th of the match. The defeat condemned the Argentine to his earliest exit from the All England Club. Canadian tennis ace Frank Dancevic, in his next match, will face Bobby Reynolds of the United States as he attempts to enter the third round of a Grand Slam for the very first time.
