Ford India has announced to add 4 more Roadside Assistance Service (RSA) in Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore and Jaipur. With addition of 4 new RSA, the total number has gone up to 13. In Ford R SA program a fleet of two types of vehicles including flat bed trucks and emergency response motorcycles are used to facilitate car users in bad circumstances.

Ford India ED (Marketing and Sales) Nigel E Wark announced that the customers have been very complementary about the support they have received, in particular the concept of the car beings transported on a truck and not towed. He hoped that with the third phase the company will cover around 60 per cent of Ford car owners in the country.

The program is meant to provide its customers a hassle-free driving experience in and around the city. The Ford source said that in this program, the flat bed trucks takes customer’s vehicle to the service centre and get them repaired without the accompanying damages generally experienced during the towing of cars. More importantly, the service is available round the clock.
