Ford India has launched a refurbished version of its SUV, Endeavour.

Ford India has also joined the league of automobile manufacturers, who are now launching the revamped models of their vehicles, by re-launching its sports utility vehicle, Endeavour, on Wednesday.
 
The revamped Endeavour is available in two variants and comes with five speed automatic transmission. The new Ford SUV now has airbags on its sides also. Earlier the air bags were present in the front of driver as well as in the passenger seats.
 
The refurbished Endeavour comes at a cost of Rs.17.99 lakh for 3-litre, 4x4 automatic transmission where as the customer needs to pay Rs.15.99 lakh for the 2.5-litre, 4x2 manual transmission variant. The customers can choose from five colours.
 
Two new shades of colours, sea grey and moondust silver, have been added to the existing range of morello, panther black and diamond white.
 
"We expect good response with this launch," Ford India president and managing director Michael Bonham told reporters during the launch in New Delhi.
 
The new variant comes with seven inch touch screen satellite navigation system, built-in DVD player, a rear camera and blue tooth communication system on the automatic transmission variant, along with a USB input.
 
The revamped version spots multi-bar chrome grille and chrome accented lower grille combining with sleek, wraparound headlamps.
 
Ford is also upbeat about the upcoming festive season. "We see a very strong next few months. This is due to a combination of our product line-up and also economic recovery," Bonham said.
