Former Renault team head Flavio Briatore has charged one million euros as compensation over the crash-gate scandal from Formula One's governing body.
Briatore will also appeal in the Paris court on the life ban imposed on him from the sport. He wants the ban to be dismissed and a minimum of one million euros for damages caused to his reputation.
World Motor Sport Council had imposed lifetime ban on Briatore, who had quit in the aftermath of the scandal, and chief engineer Pat Symonds was suspended for five years in September.
According to reports, Symonds will join the appeal to have his suspension overturned.
