Firefox 4.0 is due to arrive in either October or November of 2010. Mozilla has recently issued a product roadmap .It would provide new details regarding the releases to be made till 2010 which includes the information on next major iteration of Firefox.
The report has revealed that Firefox 4.0 is due to arrive in either October or November of 2010. The new version will come with new features such as a new slick user interface and multi-touch gesture suppport. The report is currently in draft form and is open for changes.
Numerous changes are expected before the release of Firefox 4.0 in the versions 3.6 and 3.7 which will make their debut before 4.0.
These new improved versions will offer features such as faster javascript handling, improved form completion tools, bookmark synchronization and page load enhancements.
Mozilla also disclosed the exclusive feature to come with Firefox 4.0 is that each tab will function with its own separate process, reducing the chances of losing your precious browser session.
