The Italian luxury sports car maker, Ferrari is going to unveil its new car named California at the Paris Autoshow in October. This will be Ferrari’s first convertible with a retractable hard top. The leading sports car maker of Formula One fame has, however, divulged very few details about the new car. The fast car lovers can however be satisfied for some time by having a glance at the picture of the new car California, posted at the internet.
According to a spokesperson of Ferrari, the car will come in the markets in early 2009. The spokesman added that the car is not an entry level car and will not be available at a cheap price. The price of the car has not yet been officially announced. The two seater California has a V8 engine like the F430 Scuderia, but it is placed in the front rather than the back. The swift car is capable of propelling from zero to 100km/h in less than four seconds.
