An evening full of enchanting extravaganza ended with the declaration of the winners of Pantaloons Femina India Miss World 2008 on saturday (April, 5). Bright and beautiful Simran Kaur Mundi was declared Femina Miss India Universe 2008. Parvathy Omanakuttan was declared India Miss World 2008, whereas Harshita Saxena was crowned Pantaloons Femina Miss Earth 2008. They walked away with the crowns amidst applause and greetings beating 26 other participants in the contest.
Co-hosted by the lovely-looking Diya Mirza and South Indian superstar Madhavan, the Pantaloons Femina Miss India Contest witnessed 28 gorgeous lasses sashay down the ramp looking absolutely ravishing. Both Diya and Madhavan donned outfits designed by Ritu Kumar and Shaina NC. The event that proved to be a test of beauty and brains for the participating contestants had some really well-known figures on its panel of judges.
The panel of judges at the Pantaloons Femina Miss India comprised actors like Tabu, Zeenat Aman, Katrina Kaif, designers Rina Dhaka and JJ Vallaya, choreographer Shiamak Davar and prominent journalist Arnab Goswami. The event was peppered with sizzling performances by Bollywood stars like Sameera Reddy, Bipasha Basu and Kareena Kapoor. On the whole, the Pantaloons Femina Miss India was a truly magical show.
