‘Don‘ the popular movie of 70s which is still the favourite of millions is soon going to have its another sequel. Shah Rukh tried a remake of the same movie which attracted a large mass of audience.

Now director-actor Farhan Akhtar is to bring again the magic of this legendary movie on screen once again. The shooting is heard to go on floor this month of October once everything is ready.

The audience will surely enjoy it, a highly expectant Farhan states,  "The next 'Don' is coming up really well. At the moment, we are into heavy pre-production for that. We would start shooting on Oct 1 or Oct 2... that's the scheduled date to start shooting for now. So we are getting there... slowly but surely. (I am) very excited about it. And I am quite certain that I'll have a great time making it and that the audience will surely enjoy it.”

The chase of ‘Don’ began in 1978 where it starred icon Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role and which received accolade of public’s response and still it is kept alive in its sequel followed by Farhan with his direction.

Previous characters like Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani, Arjun Rampal and Om Puri will stay intact in the next sequel while there will be also new characters added to the script this time according to the director Farhan.

Love to continue with my direction, Farhan adds, "I would love to have a combination of both (acting and directing) in my life. I don't plan on giving up direction. I love it too much. I am getting back to it with 'Don' towards the end of this year. So it will be a combination of both things always."

Currently, Farhan is busy promoting his thriller movie ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’, that is set for a release on five hundred screens nationwide on Friday.
