Social networking website, Facebook is planning to undergo a revamp. Now that the said website has over 20,000 applications, it has declared its plan to redesign in order to clean up the users’ profile pages and enhance organization. Facebook announced that new applications will be arranged among under the four tabbed categories for the purpose of easier navigation and access.
 
Other tabs on the Facebook page will hold personal information, images and feeds. Facebook has pointed out that its users can even store their applications in other tabs if they desire so. At the top of the Facebook page is the ‘Applications’ link, which has a dropdown menu with a ‘Booksmarks’ segment. It is here that the members of Facebook can put their favorite applications.
 
Users will find all the tabs at the top of their Facebook profile page and it is said that the redesigned version will assist in cutting down the need to scroll down the page to use a particular application. There will also be a new ‘Publisher Box’ on the Facebook which will help a member directly feed new information into his /her profile page. Facebook, which boasts of about 70 million members worldwide, has said that its redesigned page will be introduced in June.
