Facebook has acquired  Octazen Solutions a small Malaysian company which use to be a maker of contacts importer on the social network. The spokesperson for Facebook stated the buyout as “talent acquisition”. The company’s statement in the mail read as the following:

“We’ve admired the engineering team’s efforts for some time now and this is part of our ongoing effort to add experienced, accomplished technical talent to help drive the company forward in its efforts to be the central way for people to connect and share information.”

Facebook previously had bought Parakey and FriendFeed and is keeping away from product buy outs while sticking to talent buy outs. Octazen is also no longer accepting any new users and is under a transition period for the moment.
