Ewan Mcgregor has informed that the reason of delay of his latest flick ‘I love You Phillip Morris’ is that the Disney bosses did not want young film fans thinking their Ebenezer Scrooge was gay.
Before, the movie was scheduled to release last year (09) but movie bosses behind the A Christmas Carol blockbuster feared Jim Carrey's portrayal of a gay man would confuse their audience.
In, ‘I love You Phillip Morris’ Ewan Mcgregor and Jim Carrey play the lovers.
Ewan McGregor said, "There was talk that Disney fended off the release until after A Christmas Carol came out. They didn’t want kids thinking Ebenezer Scrooge was a bender."
According to sources, the movie will finally hit the theatres by the end of March this year.
