Eva Longoria Parker has been honoured for her tireless work for the children suffering from various ailments.
She works as a national spokesperson for the organization Padres Contra El Cancer (Parents Against Cancer), which supports for the Latino children suffering from cancer.
The Desperate Housewives star also has an organization, Eva's Heroes, which provides after-school programs for kids with developmental disabilities in her native town Texas.
Now her hard work has been recognised as she has been chosen to get the ‘Philanthropist of the Year’ award by the Hollywood Reporters.
According to Publisher Eric Mika, "I've never met a more conscientious and socially aware young, energetic talent. Eva's efforts on behalf of the causes near and dear to her are Herculean.”
"She pours her free time and energy into raising millions of dollars for charitable missions that make a difference in the Latino community and other humanitarian organisations," she adds.
