The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has given the Rs 113.02-crore contract to engineering firm Era Infra. The high budget contract was bagged by Era infra's joint venture firm KMR-ERA. Under the new contract, the company will be constructing terminal building at the Indore Airport. The joint venture company has also been working on two other construction projects of AAI at Pune and Raipur. The joint venture company is reported to have bagged the Rs 129.65-crore contract from the AAI for construction related works at Raipur airport a couple weeks ago.
The three contracts together worth Rs 320 crore. According to Era Infra Head, Construction and Contracts Division, T D Arora the company is very much committed to its work and promises to offer high performance and that too in time. The gaining of series of contracts will not only improve the company's portfolio but also enable it to capture the construction market with special adherence to air port infrastructure. The shares of Era Infra are showing upward trend as per share trading at Rs 79.
