India's premier full-fledged electronic news monitoring agency, Esha News Monitoring (ENM) has procured three IPL teams other than the league owners for monitoring the IPL matches. As per the deal, ENM will provide extensive monitoring of all the matches for the season to the owner and the three franchises. The EMN will offer comprehensive Television Monitoring Intelligence Report (TMIR), which will help the franchises to gauge the present marketing strategy and prepare new ones for the next season.

The agency will monitor the matches of the desired franchises by basing on certain parameters like prime time versus non-prime time, coverage on 130+ television channels and date wise reporting of coverage over a specified period of time. EMN will monitor individual team by comparing it to other teams by taking into account the variables such as Team, Owner, Match Schedule, Channel, Zone, Tone and Issues.

Esha News Monitoring (ENM) tracks more than 130 channels including regional channels beamed into India. The news monitoring agency was established in 1999 and is backed by practitioners and scholars of media. ENM has Shilpa Pawar as its director.
