The tri-lingual sci-fi movie Endhiran is witnessing unprecedented pre-bookings in the United States with the tickets being sold within ten minutes after opening.
The tickets for the movie were sold two weeks ahead of the movie release. The Jackson Heights, a theatre in New York is surprised with the record breaking collections.
The US-based production house FICUS Movies has reportedly acquired the rights of both Tamil and Telugu versions at Rs.35 crores.
While the movie is awaited, Endhiran songs have already become a hit and became one of the top downloads in iTunes. The songs were launched in Malaysia in August while the trailer was launched in many theatres in September adding on more to the hype.
The high-budget science fiction movie is slated for release on October 1 worldwide. The movie starring Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead is a science fiction made by the renowned director Shankar. Sun Pictures is producing the movie at the budget that reaches to almost 200 crores.
