What would be seen as the “conventional trait” of every US President, especially when it comes to handling the fierce yet sensitive issues like the global-terrorism, Barrack Obama has proclaimed that one of his top  prioritieswould be to capture Osama bin Laden and script the end of Al Qaeda. He would send troops to Afghanistan, as he feels that the region is still the centre of terrorism.

“I think it is a top priority for us to stamp out Al Qaeda once and for all. I think capturing or killing bin Laden is a critical aspect of stamping out Al Qaeda,” Obama told the CBS News in an interview.
“As soon as I take office, I will call in the joint chiefs of staff, my national security apparatus, and we will start executing a plan that draws down our troops. Particularly in light of the problems that we’re having in Afghanistan, which has continued to worsen,” Obama said.

The announcement, would undoubtedly put Pakistan under tremendous pressure as Obama, during his election campaign, had advocated the policy of a unilateral US strike inside Pakistani territories if they find any actionable intelligence on Osama Bin Laden.
