Leading real estate developer, Emaar MGF on Thursday (May 21) opened its first hotel project in India called Fortune Select Metropolitan. The first hotel project of Emaar MGF is located in Jaipur. Fortune Select Metropolitan comes with 90 rooms that include six suites. The Jaipur property also has a sun deck, rooftop swimming pool, spa and health club.

 

Fortune Select Metropolitan at Jaipur is 10 km away from the airport and two km from the railway station. The newly opened hotel will cater to business and leisure travelers. Fortune Select offers a banquet hall that can accommodate up to 150 guests. Apart from these, the Jaipur hotel offers other facilities like complimentary airport pick-up for Fortune Club Rooms, a 24-hour coffee shop ‘Zodiac’ and the Nostradamus Bar and Lounge.

 

According to Emaar MGF chief executive Sanjiv Rai, the city of Jaipur offers tremendous scope for the development of business and tourism industry. He said that opening of Fortune Select will help the company to expand its presence in pink city Jaipur. The new property will be managed by ITC subsidiary Fortune Park Hotels.

 

Senior executive vice-president of ITC's hotels division, Pawan Verma that Fortune Select Metropolitan is Fortune Park's 28th hotel and the second in Jaipur. Emaar MGF is a joint venture between MGF Development Limited and Emaar Properties PJSC, Dubai. The company is basically engaged in developing projects pertaining to hospitality, commerce, infrastructure, and residential houses, Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and integrated service.
