Singer & musician Elton John and his long time partner David Furnish are now the proud parents of a son. The child who was born to a surrogate in California on Christmas Day weighted 7 pounds, 15 ounces.
The pair is happy with child’s birth and has named him Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John.
The pair was quoted as saying, "We are overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this very special moment.
“Zachary is healthy and doing really well, and we are very proud and happy parents,” the pair added.
Elton met his Canadian-born partner, a former advertising executive and now film maker, in 1993. On 21 December 2005, they entered into a civil partnership.
