With the launch of Madhubhan Resorts and Spa in Charotar of Gujarat's Anand district, Elecon group has announced its entry into hospitality sector. This is Rs.1,500-crore engineering firm.
The Spa, which has 81 rooms, has been launched in a location which lies in between Ahmedabad and Anand. The customers will be provided the facilities of a five-star deluxe resort.
"The property comes equipped with an array of amenities such as a spa, swimming pools, restaurants, shopping arcade, kids zone, amphi-theatre," said Prayasvin Patel, chairman and managing director of the Elecon Group.
He also mentioned that about Rs.375 crore will be invested for developing the Phase II of the project.
"These would include a sports club, a golf course and service apartments," he added.
