Eight new fetching mobile phones including the SGH-U900 aka the Soul has been launched by Samsung in India. Appearance wise, the Soul is simple and elegant with a full metal body. It has features that adapt themselves to the user depending on the application. For instance, DaCP’s Magic Touch is a feature which makes menu navigation easier, more intuitive and direct. Interestingly, the icons on the navigation panel alter as per the function to complement the need of the user.

 

The Soul mobile set from Samsung is 12.9 mm in thickness and sports a five mega pixel camera. Among its other features include face detection, image stabilizer, Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), internet access, etc. The Soul costs Rs 20,585. Targeting the business community, the Samsung has introduced the SGH-i780 priced at Rs 25,000 and the D780 phones. The chic SGH-i780 sports a complete QWERTY keyboard and a complete touch screen. Plus, it operates on Windows Mobile 6.0, proffers push email, MS Office, MSN Chat and other features.

 

The D780 is the other mobile phone from Samsung in the business category. It is a tri-band, dual-SIM phone fitted with SIM toggle key, 2.1-inches QVGA TFT display, 2 mega pixels camera, FM alarm, MP3 music player, Bluetooth and Bluetooth printing capability among an array of other riveting features. The SGH-E251, SGH-M120, and SGH-J150 mobile phones have been introduced by the company in the multimedia category. Yet another cell phone introduced in the same category by Samsung is the BeaT450 priced at Rs 14,799. Lastly there are two new Guru mobile handsets from Samsung - the Guru 145 and the Guru 300. Guru 145 is priced at Rs 1,696, whereas Guru 300 costs Rs 2,999.
