EgyptAir has decided to introduce one more one more direct flight from Mumbai to Cairo from October 27, 2008. This step is taken to meet the increasing demand of the travel agents and passengers. With the introduction of this flight, the number of Mumbai to Cairo flights will increase to four. The new flight will fly to and from Cairo and Mumbai on Tuesdays/Wednesdays. The new direct flight will use Cairo - Mumbai - Kuala Lumpur - Mumbai - Cairo route to bring and send the passengers from both the nations.   
 
EgyptAir is entirely owned by the government of Egypt. The aviation company offers its services to more than 70 destinations in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, the Far East, the USA, and Canada including the domestic services. The member of Star Alliance, EgyptAir is the second largest airline on the African continent. It is also the second largest Arab airline with networks all over the world including Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, Africa, Australia, India, and North America.
 
The introduction of new flight between Mumbai and Cairo will be beneficial for the passengers of both the countries. It will also end up the problem of lack of seats. This flight along with three other flights to Mumbai also has great significance from business point of view. No doubt, the new flight will expand international trade between the two countries besides intensifying the mutual relation of the countries.
