Just one fortnight away from the official discloser of Democratic Party candidate for US presidentship, Howard Wolfson former aide of Hilary Clinton has divulged that Edwards’s sex lie cost Hilary’s nomination. He said that he believes that they would have won Iowa, and Clinton today would therefore have been the nominee. Reportedly, Edwards had affair with some lady called Hunter.

 

Mr Wolfson further said that Clinton's campaign knew about the affair but kept quiet, for according to him any of the campaigns that would have tried to push that would have been burned by it. Worth to mention here is former senator Edward’s wife Elizabeth recently had confessed of having an affair in 2006 with filmmaker Rielle Hunter.

 

Wolfson is of opinion that Edwards voters in Iowa would have been behind Clinton rather than Barack Obama. He said that Clinton’s voters and Edwards' voters were the same people. Interestingly, here came the change of fate for Hilary and she lost to Obama and Edwards as well. Whatever would be the impact of the news, it certainly is not going to do any good to Democrats.
