Two new, eco-friendly engine oils have been launched in UAE. These engine oils assure the consumers of delivering higher fuel efficiency and less pollution.
The Protect Green 5W 40 and Vulcan Green 10W 40 engine oils possess sulphated ash and phosphorous in low amounts.
The Enoc International Sales Ltd., a subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc), has rolled out these products. Enoc International Sales is the fist-ever UAE company to launch 'green' gasoline and diesel engines.
Saeed Abdullah Khoory, chief executive of Enoc Group, said the new products are part of the company's vision for a pollution free environment by maintaining high industry standards.
"Through our green products we aim to make our environment a cleaner place. We take care to ensure that all products manufactured and marketed by us comply with the UAE's emission control standards," he added.
The ‘green’ lubricants will provide protection to the metals, which are found in the exhaust gas treatment. These lubraciants can be used in vehicles which have exhaust gas emission controls and possess fuels, which contain less amounts of sulphur.
