An undersea earthquake of magnitude 6.4 rocked the capital of East Timor, Dili, on Saturday. However there were no reports of any causality suffered.
The epicenter of the earthquake was about 50 miles northeast of Dili. However there are no dangers of Tsunami. East Timor lies in the Pacific Ring of Fire which experiences earthquake on a regular basis.
People screamed out of their houses and some people used bamboo drum sounds to warn others. It is to be noted that on 26 December 2004, a strong Tsunami wave hit the coastal areas of India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Thailand killing many people.
