The EAMCET final phase counseling for admission of candidates from ranks 54,001 to the last rank will start on September 2. It is on September 23 that the final phase will end and the classes will start the day after. A high level meeting was convened at the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) and the decision to this effect was taken there.
From August 18 to August 29, the ‘continued first phase’ of counseling for 52,000 SC, ST, BC(A), BC(C), BC(E) category students will be held. The APSCHE Chairman K C Reddy informed that the web-based counseling will be held from August 22 to August 31 for candidates. Unlike the ICET counseling done on the first come first serve basis, the web-based one will be done in a scheduled manner. The first phase counseling has been attended by 44,073 candidates so far.
