Admissions in University of Delhi are something most of the students and not just from the national capital, but the entire country vie for. The receipt of   applications has now closed and the fates of lakhs of students, who apply to DU, have been sealed. The admission list for various undergraduate courses in the colleges of University of Delhi will be announced by the colleges on Thursday, June 26, 2008.
 
The cut off percentage of marks at which admission to various courses of study is offered by different colleges of Delhi University can be announced any time now. It is on the basis of this cut off that the students can expect to get admissions in their dream colleges. The University of Delhi offers a host of courses for study at the undergraduate level and continues to increase it.
 
Students seek admission to courses like BA (Prog), B. Com, B. Com (H), Eco (H), History (H), English (H), Philosophy (H), Maths (H), Pol Sc (H), Hindi (H), Socio (H), Psychology (H), Geography (H), Sanskrit (H) and Bsc courses among others. Though there are over 70 colleges under the University of Delhi, some colleges occupy the top spot in the list. Few amongst them are St. Stephens College, Sri Ram College for Commerce (SRCC), Lady Sri Ram College (LSR), Hans Raj College, Hindu College, IP College for Women, Miranda House and Sri Venkateshwara College among others.
