Hollywood beauty Drew Barrymore may soon be seen in Bollywood as reportedly an Indian director has approached her for lead role in his movie ‘Lifestyle’.The women-centric film is being produced by Santosh Jain, an industrialist.Jain is also the also the writer-director.
The beauty seems to have liked the script as Jain discloses in an interview,"The process is underway. We have approached Barrymore and she is considering it. As soon as everything is finalised we will make a formal announcement.”
Jain on choosing Barrymoore for his character said,"Barrymore has a very Indian face and she fits the character. The script required an international star like Kate Winslet or Drew Barrymore and we settled for the Charlie's Angels star.”
The 150 crore budget film will revolve around three women .Buzz is that Jain has also approached two top Bollywood actress for other two lead characters.
Jain further said that the movie will be Hindi and English."It would be premature to give names unless they confirm their participation. My film is dedicated to Indian woman and the holy river Ganges. It will be bigger than Rajnikanth's Robot.”
It would be India's first film to be shot in stereo scopic IMAX 3D version ,claims the director.Two of the songs for the upcoming venture has already been recorded. Kunal Ganjawala who sang one of them said,"The song that I have sung is very nice, peppy item song. It is a Punjabi number. I am elated that Drew Barrymore is a part of the project.”
The shooting will take place in Haridwar, Varanasi, Europe, US and Dubai and the film is speculated to hit screens in 2012.
