A dozen militants are believed to have been killed in a suspected US missile attack in the Damadola area of the Bajaur tribal Agency of Pakistan. A senior security official told that two missiles, which were fired by a US drone aircraft, destroyed a house and a compound used by suspected al Qaeda militants

Militants blamed the United States of executing a missile attack in its tribal belts. The militants have also pledged that they will definitely take revenge against this assault, which has killed many people. The Taliban spokesperson, Maulvi Omar informed that a house of a local tribesman became the target of a US drone on Wednesday 14 May. 

Speaking through a telephone from a secret location, Maulvi Omar added that the attack by US had left many people dead, which also included children apart from six others who have got injured. The Pakistani Taliban spokesperson pointed out that there were no Taliban leaders present in the targeted area. This attack has been made upon the Taliban dominated zone as they are busy discussing a deal with the new government in Pakistan.

Further on, Pakistani Taliban spokesperson remarked that this missile attack by US was carried out with the motive of terminating the negotiations between them and the Pakistani government. Maulvi Omar mentioned that the talks will go on despite the attack, but that the killings would be avenged by the Taliban. ‘We have taken revenge for our martyrs in the past and we will take revenge now also, said the Maulvi.
