All the matches of played on two of the 20 tables in the IBSF World Snooker Championship will be telecasted live by Doordarshan. The Championship is commencing at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre on Sunday.
Andhra Chief Minister K. Rosaiah will inaugurate the tournament. According to tournament officials, results will be made available online.
The tournament is being played inside a massive hall measuring about 20,000 square feet in which 20 brand new tables apart from 750 spectators can be accommodated.
The venue is said of be the biggest of its kind in the history of World snooker and certainly among the best-appointed facilities. The venue is located at Gachibowli that is the hub of IT industry, on the outskirts of the city. The Indian charge in the tournament will be led by Pankaj Advani and Geet Sethi.
